DeltaPort is a consolidated port association consisting of the City Port of Wesel, the Rhine-Lippe Port Wesel, plus the Port of Emmelsum in Voerde on the Lower Rhine.

DetaPort is situated immediately on the River Rhine, in the hinterland of the seaports of Rotterdam, Amsterdam, and Antwerp and is characterized by an optimal infrastructural connection to the national and European metropolitan areas. Autobahn connectors on the eastern bank of the Rhine for access to federal freeway A3 (Emmerich-Oberhausen) and, alternatively on the western bank of the Rhine, to federal freeway A57 (Nijmegen-Cologne) are in our immediate vicinity and allow a bypass around traffic jams in the Ruhr area. In addition, the ports are connected to the DB (German Rail) corridor Emmerich-Oberhausen.

DeltaPort offers a surface area potential of 86 hectares for the new settlement of companies with an affinity to the ports as service providers, distributors and other trading businesses, or as processing and manufacturing outfits. Thanks to the existing trimodal options (access to road, rail, and waterways), we can offer our customers, right outside the gates to the Ruhr area in North Rhine-Westphalia, a plethora of opportunities to optimize their logistics supply chains, while avoiding the gridlock of Germany’s most densely populated Federal State of some 18 million inhabitants.

DeltaPort features numerous transshipment services for loose bulk materials, general cargo, liquid bulk, heavy cargo, and containers. Three trimodal terminals are available in 24/7 operation for the handing of containers. Particularly for temperature-controlled food items we offer special location advantages in the agricultural Niederrhein region. The development of refrigerated logistics real estate with an affordable energy supply offers interesting perspectives to investors.
